Lo stilista spagnolo Manel Torres attraverso la nuova tecnologia spray-on sta immaginando un nuovo modo fi fare abbigliamento.
Lo spray-on è uno spray, appunto, formato da fibre tessili, polimeri ed uno speciale solvente che spruzzati sulla pelle solidificano e formano un vero e proprio tessuto che può essere indossato, lavato e indossato di nuovo.
Manel Torres per inventare questo nuovo tessuto spray ha collaborato con i ricercatori dell’Imperial College di Londra.
Torres sta anche pensando ad un’azienda, la Fabrican Ltd, che valuterà le altre applicazioni possibili del nuovo materiale quali ad esempio bende, salviettine igieniche e tappezzeria per auto e mobili.
L’unico inconveniente per ora sembra essere il fatto che lo spruzzo è abbastanza freddo… brrrr!
